Description
  • As a Forklift/shipping Forklift Operator you will be required to communicate and work with Supervisors, Quality line leads for a smooth operation.
  • For Production you will need to collaborate with Forklift Lead, Production Manager, production supervisors, Team Leads, and Quality Line Leads.
  • Transport merchandise from receiving dock or reserve slots to proper location in the warehouse
  • Load and unload designated trailers and/or route trucks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
  • Move product and/or materials manually as required.
  • Sweep floor slots
  • Change battery in forklift, when applicable
  • Keep work area clean
  • Clean spills and re-work damage
  • Use case cutter to cut tops off cases
  • Slot material in designated storage areas
  • Pull material to deliver to production lines
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

How you make an Impact

What you need to succeed at IFS

  • Bi-lingual preferred. Basic command of English is a must!
  • Experience in a fast-paced Production (and Manufacturing) industry preferred
  • Follow standard operating/work methods and practice safe work habits
  • Flexible and able to work weekends or over-time, as needed
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Punctuality with a demonstrated attendance record
  • Experience working in team-oriented environment
  • Must have dependable and reliable transportation

Physical/Environmental Demands

  • Ability to frequently lift 20 to 50lbs and occasionally up to 90lbs.
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to a 10-hour shift, over time based on business needs.
  • Must be able to constantly twist, bend, carry, balance, push, pull, reach overhead, and stoop.
  • Must be able to follow standard operating/work methods and practice safe work habits
  • Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures
  • All plant positions are required to stand, practice frequent motion of extremities and withstand exposure to heat and cold for extended periods of time.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing.
  • Breaks and lunches Two 10 minute Breaks, 30 minute Lunch
