**General Summary:**

Working under supervision of the Food Service Supervisor.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Prints and reviews diet sheets, prepares menus for the day.

2. Accurately assembles patient trays according to diet.

3. Delivers trays to patients.

4. Removes trays from patient rooms at end of each meal period, gets food choices from patient.

5. Brings food carts to the main kitchen.

6. Stocks and maintains assigned floor kitchens.

**Qualifications**

: **Education:**

Required: High School Graduate or equivalent

**Experience:**

Required: 1 year of cooking/food service experience in a restaurant or healthcare environment.

**Certifications:**

Required: Food Handler certification based on city or state requirements.
