Intelligence Plans and Engagements Specialist (Team Lead)

Our work depends on an Intelligence Plans and Engagements Specialist to serve as a team lead in support of administrative and intelligence tasks for a Combatant Command (CCMD), Directorate of Intelligence J2.

HOW AN INTELLIGENCE PLANS AND ENGAGMENTS SPECIALIST TEAM LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Serves as the Intelligence Plans and Engagements Specialist team lead on a large, Joint Intelligence Operations Center program in support of the USCENTCOM Area of Operations.
  • Develops and manages intelligence relationships, drafting reports and Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs) concerning intelligence relationships and sharing authorities.
  • Prepares comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports detailing the planning and execution of intelligence engagement events.
  • Coordinates and tracks intelligence activities using Task Management Tool (TMT), Joint Staff 136 actions, IC E-tasks, and key leader engagement correspondence/Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Facilitates smooth communication and collaboration with Headquarters (Higher, Adjacent, Combined), coalition partners, and various stakeholders, including US government agencies, partner nation governments, components, and supported organizations.
  • Assists with planning, organizing, and executing high-profile international intelligence engagement events for USCENTCOM J2, both within the US and foreign nations.
  • Leverages the Global-Theater Security Cooperation Management Information System (G-TSCMIS) to effectively support event management.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts and utilizes interpreter support as needed to develop lesson plans, study materials, practical exercises, and after-action reports on military intelligence subjects relevant to countries in the Levant region, Arabian Gulf and Red Sea region, and the Central Asian States region of the Middle East.
  • Engages in routine communication with the customer on both mission and administrative deliverables.
  • Identifies and implements corrective action plans, timely identification of issues and effective management of contractors assigned to the Intelligence Plans and Engagements Division.
  • Engages in technical, administrative supervision and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the Intelligence Plans and Engagements Division.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Security Clearance Level: TS / SCI, with favorable poly.
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Education / Required Experience: Master's Degree with 12 years related experience or bachelor's degree with a total of 17 yrs experience as a substitute to the master's degree.
  • Required: MS Visio and G-TSCMIS experience
  • Preferred: Understanding of international relations, diplomacy, cultural sensitivities, and regional dynamics in the Middle East
