Introduction: Phelps UNITED is looking for hard-working and detailed orientated Warehouse Associates to assist our team. If you have experience in receiving, shipping, inventory control, or RMA and have you worked with ecommerce, computer or electronic component warehouses, this is the opportunity for you. This position will rotate throughout the warehouse so you must be willing and able to work in all Warehouse roles. This a Temp to Hire Position. Hours are from M-F 8am-4:30pm but must also be available some Saturdays and open to possibility of working until 6:30pm. Pay will start between $17-18/hr as a temp and then increased if hired on. This role is for a 40 hour work week.

Warehouse Associates Duties include:
Unloading delivery trucks and checking incoming shipments against purchase orders
Organizing and storing inbound shipments until they are fully received in the system
Assuring no damaged items are received
Comparing packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list
Quality Control - checking all inbounds for quantity, quality, condition as well as counterfeit
Create labels that pertain product and/or specific customer
Re-box/Package/Label product into sellable condition
Replenish pick shelves with ready to sell product
Transfer product via scanner according to warehouse, condition and location
Pull orders - ensure transfer of product is completed from location to shipping line
Pick Orders - ensure part(s) are scanned according to sales order. Quantity and condition
Pack orders - verify part(s) are correct before sealing box/package
Cycle counts
Assist with handling/coordinating the returns and schedule activities by priorities
Inspect and verify products and merchandise to confirm/verify returns.
Warehouse Associates Qualifications: At least 1 year warehouse or distribution experience preferably in the technology industry - preferred
At least one year operating a forklift - preferred
Spanish speaking - preferred
Strong Organization Skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to be an independent worker
Track record of meeting or exceeding department performance goals
Excellent written and oral communication skills
