**Job Description**

Job Number ASSTEST1000 Job Title Assembler/Tester Department Econco : Engineering Location Woodland, CA Description Communications & Power Industries (CPI), headquartered in Palo Alto, California, is a global manufacturer of electronic components and subsystems focused primarily on communications and defense markets. Preform mechanical assembly

Operate electrical test equipment

Conduct routine equipment maintenance and keep logs up to date

Read and understand mechanical drawing, schematics and process documents

Inspect parts and assemblies

Ability to use hand and power tools

Complete tasks using microscope

Set-up and conduct electrical and mechanical product test and record data

Nice to haves:

Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude

Laboratory experience helpful

Experience with electronic test equipment desired

Familiar with materials and fabrication techniques, machine shop practices, welding, plating, brazing, aqueous cleaning, clean water systems Requirements Good Manual dexterity

Excellent verbal and written communication
