Job SummaryMaintains proficiency as an Occupational Therapy Assistant for patient care, meeting the performance requirements of a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant for the State of Oklahoma. Assumes responsibility for ethical and cost effective care, manage and coordinate patient treatment as directed by the attending occupational therapist and the referring physician. Works closely with other hospital staff in coordination of patient care. QualificationsEducationGraduate of an AOTA approved occupational therapy assistant education programsuccessful completion of a minimum of two months supervised level II fieldwork experiencesuccessful completion of the certification process for Occupational Therapy Assistant. QualificationsLicensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical ExaminersCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS)(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience).
