The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for executing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective actions on machinery electrical system within Manufacturing and Packaging OperationsAdditionally, this role plays a key part in our reliability of equipment to ensure production operate safety, in compliance with quality requirements and, has limited downtime.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.  These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Execute electrical preventative maintenance, inspection, and corrective actions on machinery operations.   

  • Troubleshooting on electrical machinery problems and make necessary repairs.  

  • Perform electrical equipment breakdown analysis implementing solutions to increase reliability of equipment.  

  • Recommend improvements and modifications to production machines. 

  • Documenting completed work and the conditions found and analysis, utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). 

  • Interacting regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of machinery operations. 

  • Work within an operations driven team environment to resolve issues and improve performance. 

  • Execute maintenance troubleshooting and equipment improvements by reading and comprehending electrical schematics, blueprints, and/or operation manuals. 

  • Capable of knowledge sharing in terms of equipment maintenance good practices through work instruction review, one point lesson development and perform training for maintenance and operations team.  

  • Follow safety procedures, recommended practices, LOTO, job safety analysis (JSA), safe work permits and complies with plant safety programs at all time 

  • Execute the maintenance routines following the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality compliance

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or GED 

  • Electrical trade school certification or degree in a maintenance-related field

** Successful Candidate will be required to work 12-hour shift, every other weekend

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in using hand tools, electrical meter, and testing equipment 

  • Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics and produce as-built drawing for work performed. 

  • Ability to perform electrical routine service, setup, adjustment and repairs of manufacturing mixers, high-speed packaging lines and palletizer system. 

  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety with the ability to thoroughly evaluate job hazards and complete job safety analysis with an emphasis on identifying electrical hazards and proper safety procedures, handling low to high voltage up to 480 VAC. 

  • Basic troubleshooting of PLCs, HMIs, robots, AC motor drives, servodrives, vision system, sensors, industrial printer systems and electronic components. 

  • Technical understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to be able to review and maintain facility related GMP documentation.  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).?
