Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

The incumbent carries out the treatment plan as established by the evaluating Physical Therapist to ensure proper patient care.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of a two-year college program through school of physical therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association required
• Current California PTA license required
• Physical Therapy Assistants providing independent case coverage in pediatrics must have one (1) year of experience
• Ability to perform duties and make decisions in stressful situations required
• Ability to prioritize patient needs and auxiliary duties required
• Current BLS certification required (must be certified through the American Heart Association)
