Role Overview

As a QMAP, you perform treatments and administer medications to our assisted living residents under the direction of a licensed nurse. The Stellar way is through kindness, gentle, friendly, and professional manner, and respecting their dignity and privacy.

Responsibilities

• You enthusiastically assist with personal needs as requested, and help them maintain their independence and overall well-being
• To ensure accurate and effective care, you document all services delivered and any significant changes in condition
• In addition to medication administration, you're responsible for changing simple dressings for non-infected chronic or postoperative conditions, providing skin care, and treating minor skin problems
• You're occasionally delegated other tasks by the licensed nurse on duty

Qualifications

• Current CMA certificate
• Can do attitude and willingness to go above and beyond when needed to serve our residents
• Ability to work as a team and also independently
• A love for seniors
