Position Description

Epic Special Education Staffing is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for a contract School Social Worker SSW or School Psychologist or School Counselor for the 2023-2024 school year. 

• Location: Crystal Lake, IL
• Duration: Immediately - May 31, 2024
• Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
• Full or Part Time: Full Time
• Schedule: 37.5 hours/week; 7:45AM-2:45PM
• Grade/Age Levels: 5th to 8th-grade
• Caseload Description: Approximately 35 students; on an average of 7 students/day

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for a School Social Worker SSW or School Psychologist or School Counselor:

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a School Social Worker SSW or School Psychologist or School Counselor within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
• Valid School Social Worker SSW or School Psychologist or School Counselor credential/license or in process in state of practice
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
