Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday 9pm-5:30am)  This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor at our plant in Bloomington, MN and is considered a critical member of the CPP-Minneapolis team, working closely with the Maintenance and Operations groups on a daily basis to minimize downtime.

Major Responsibilities

  • Lead person is instrumental with the on the job training process and direct communication of resolution on issues
  • Lead person troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant processing equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements and ensuring their area team adheres to the schedule
  • Reviews PM work performed by mechanics and review work orders

About You
  • 5+ years related maintenance experience and/or training experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Two year technical degree preferred, however candidates with equivalent experience will be considered
  • Proficient in Allen Bradley PLC, electrical instrumentation, hydraulic, and mechanical applications
  • Proficient in understanding/maintaining utility systems (refrigeration, steam, electrical, water, air), facility infrastructure and all types of manufacturing equipment
