Our team combines compassion and respect with cutting-edge therapy and rehabilitation treatments for patients of all ages - from pediatrics to geriatrics.STATUS: Per Diem LOCATION: Park Ridge Living Center - 1555 Long Pond Road Rochester, NY 14626 DEPARTMENT: Physical Therapy SCHEDULE: As ScheduledATTRIBUTESNew York State Physical Therapist Assistant License required.Associates Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsRESPONSIBILITIES Team. Assist in implementation of new programs and procedures; assist in mentoring and training new team members; Contribute creative ideas to add to treatment programsTreatment. Implement physical therapy treatments as planned and directed by a physical therapist; provide home instruction and assistive equipment if necessaryPatient Care. Provide safe environment and Physical Therapy techniques for patients; Inspire confidence from patients, families and staff by performing and communicating in a highly professional mannerEDUCATION:AS: Physical Therapy (Required)LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant certification - New York State Education Department (NYSED)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. PAY RANGE:$23.00 - $30.60CITY:RochesterPOSTAL CODE:14626The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
