Market / Research Analyst (principal level) for Medtronic, Inc., Minneapolis, MN. Perform market and sales data analyses for U.S. Marketing function to drive business growth in the U.S. market. Responsible for coordinating all databases and performing all data analytics using data visualization software. Analyze data and identify opportunities to grow the business, build and maintain market models to provide market and competitive insights for the marketing strategies. Leverage knowledge from working in a customer-focused, data analyst role to provide critical metrics. Utilize SAP Business Objects to extract data for ad hoc analyses and maintain internal customer databases. Work with SAP and other data reporting tools to extract data. Develop and prepare business analyses and plans related to business analytics. Develop various dashboards for reporting key performance indicators across the business. Conduct data forecasting using analytical tools to understand trends in terms of market opportunity utilizing Google Analytics and response rates. Perform data trending, forecasting, measuring, and reporting effectiveness of outreach campaigns, including response rates, revenue generated, and return on investment (ROI). Utilize Tableau, PowerBI, and Advanced Excel. Develop, program, test, and launch market research surveys using survey programming tools including Qualtrics and SurveyMonkey. Coordinate relationships and negotiate contracts with third-party data vendors to acquire new data sources by leveraging third party vendor. Conduct qualitative and quantitative surveys with customers and third-party market research vendors. Position is open to telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. Basic Qualifications: Requires a Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Marketing, or Health Services Administration and two (2) years of experience as a marketing data analyst or related occupation. Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience with each of the following: customer-focused data analytics; SAP Business Objects; SAP data reporting tools and developing dashboards; developing and preparing business analyses and plans related to business analytics; data trending, forecasting, measuring, and reporting utilizing Google Analytics and response rates; Tableau, PowerBI, and Advanced Excel; developing, programming, testing, and launching market research surveys; developing and automating reports leveraging third party vendor data; and qualitative and quantitative surveys with customers and third-party market research vendors.
