Senior Business Systems Analyst - Business Intelligence - Military veterans preferred

Ecolab is hiring for a Senior Business Systems Analyst position on the Global Business Intelligence team who will assist with various reporting projects while working closely with key business stakeholders to identify data and reporting needs, capture, and document requirements, and then ensure those requirements are delivered. This individual will conduct an in-depth investigation of the reporting project by gathering and analyzing technical and non-technical specs. The role will work cross with various cross-functional IT and Business leads.

What You Will Do:

• Work directly with the Product Owner and divisional stakeholders to support various reporting projects
• Assist in the development of best-in-practice tools and consistent, standardized reporting dashboards for divisional finance partners and senior management
• Write clear and well-structured business requirements/documents from stakeholders
• Experience in using business tools such as Dev Ops for user story planning, tracking, and documentation needs
• Communicate and validate requirements with the development team
• Perform User Acceptance Testing and data checkouts
• Collaborate with Global BI management on roadmap planning and prioritization
• Continually identify and execute process improvements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 5 years of business analysis or related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong business and financial acumen
• Prior experience working with large data sets, data analytics, coding, connecting data sets
• High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity; able to self-manage well; highly accountable
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Results-oriented, proactive, and possesses a high level of integrity
• Highly proficient in Excel
• Coding experience with DAX, M, or SQL
• SAP and BI (BEx) / Power BI experience
