Electrical Engineer - Military veterans preferred

Job Description: SkyBridge Tactical is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team and support operations at NSWC Crane.

Job Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical systems and components for defense applications, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Conduct thorough analysis and testing of electrical systems to verify performance, reliability, and safety.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development to final implementation and deployment.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges related to electrical systems and components.
Stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering technologies and techniques, and incorporate relevant innovations into project designs.


Minimum Qualifications:

2-5 Years of Experience in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Experience with Embedded computing (FPGA Hardware Description Language experience, digital logic experience)
Programming (e.g., C, Python, LabVIEW, visual basic)
Interfacing with hardware (USB, serial, etc.)
High reliability systems � Strategic Fire Control and Navigation
Experience in design, verification, and testing � DoD/DHS preferred
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft office (Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work in a team environment..
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline or STEM Degree with demonstrated prior work experience
Active DOD Secret Clearance OR ability to obtain


Preferred Qualifications

CompTIA A+ (Plus) certification and/or CompTIA Network+ (Plus) certification or training classes to achieve these certifications.
Computer Science minors and/or significant programming classes (C and python preferred)
Basic circuit level design
Significant network classes and/or communication protocol workload experience
Cameo / sysML / model-based systems engineering experience.
