**Description**

**Primary Purpose:** The Individual in conjunction with the Sr. Advisor team is responsible for the GDC growth, compliance and organization of a mature book of business. The position will advise members and run financial plans utilizing knowledge of tax and investment strategies, securities, insurance, pension plans, and real estate. Assess members assets, liabilities, cash flow, insurance coverage, tax status, and financial objectives to establish investment strategies and offer Financial services.

**Essential Functions** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

**Add Production and Processing Support to the Senior Financial Advisors Team**

Evaluate the members financial situation and proceed by running financial planning software and presenting solutions to members/prospects. Triage new member referrals and existing client requests to determine the proper course of action for the Member. Ensure suitability and uncover Member needs. Prepare to make mutual fund recommendations and solicit the sale of the new business accounts or prepare the member for transition to the Sr. Financial Advisor along with account opening documentation.

Collaborating with colleagues across the CU and department to promote the WFA program and Sr. Advisor teams to increase brand awareness. Qualifying prospects/leads, setting and conducting appointments, servicing clients through a multitude of platforms including but not limited to: written, verbal and video communication platforms.

Assessing member objectives and recommending the proper allocation of funds. Required to place trade requests and open new accounts in a timely manner and in accordance with FINRAs regulations

Lastly, supporting the Senior Financial Advisor on tasks as they deem appropriate.

**Serving the Membership:**

Respond to and resolve member requests or issues; complete necessary financial paperwork to execute trades, change beneficiaries, establish trusts, etc. Research and gather data as needed to complete new account documents or updates.

Host on-demand member video chat meetings and lead in-office meetings. This individual must be a subject matter expert on all Financial products and services offered by the FA team as they will host innovative and educational, member-facing digital workshops which will be marketed to Credit Union Membership.

**Business Development**

Execute strong sales and business acumen in the areas of product knowledge, industry knowledge, communication and data analytics to speak to the program and FA team at events hosted by Wings Business Development team. In addition, this individual will be implementing creative and practical marketing solution that generate new prospects. Regularly plan, organize and execute member/client events exclusive to WFA clients.

Independent decisions will be required on a daily basis in this role. Investment decisions will also be made from a limited product offering suite for this position.

**Education and Experience:**

* College degree in Finance or Marketing preferred or commensurate administrative and customer service experience.

* 5 years of experience in a branch of a financial institution is a plus.

* 5 years of Strong sales and service aptitude and experience.

* 3 years experience with varying marketing and lead generation efforts preferred.

**Qualifications:**

* A combination of a series 7, 66 licenses or a combination of a series 6, 63 licenses, along with active MN Life and health Insurance required.

* A positive out-going attitude, flexibility in daily activities and an ability to work independently or collaboratively.

* Strong and polished presentations skills

* Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).

* The incumbent must possess good telemarketing and administrative skills including: organization, attention to detail, typing, and PC knowledge.

* Salesforce experience a plus.

* Demonstrated leadership and knowledge of various marketing tasks to generate interest in a program.

* Bondable.
