JOB SUMMARY: ? ?Facilitate engaging, interactive training to adult learners, including but not limited to new hire orientation, professional development workshops, and leadership development sessions. Training will be with employees at varying levels within Ohio Machinery Co. and include all divisions and departments. The expectation during this training is that you can be a brand ambassador for Ohio Machinery Co. Providing support for other trainers, and the organization in in-service trainings, as well as communicate in an ongoing, open, and direct manner with all levels of staff regarding training needs, work with the Director of Development to identify key metrics for learning effectiveness, using these metrics to improve course offerings. This position is responsible for leading virtual trainings using Webex, Zoom, and Teams, and updating our Learning Management System with completions, classes, and crucial data. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: ?Bachelor's degree or certification in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or related area of study or equivalent experience; Professional background and experience in delivering training in a corporate setting; Basic knowledge and understanding of Human Resources/People Operations; Comprehensive knowledge of organizational learning and development in support of business priorities. COMPETENCIES: A passion for training adults, a strong work ethic, and a keen eye to focus on customer service; A track record of incorporating the following key behaviors into day-today efforts: team-approach, effective listening, development credibility, building trust, and demonstrating reliability; Strategic thinker and problem solver with the ability to quickly assess and summarize information and effectively identify issues and provide potential resolutions; Superb communication skills (able to speak effectively to large and small groups, speak interpersonally with individuals and report to management. Must be friendly, clear, and a strong writer and speaker); Must be able to engage and interact well with employees at all levels and cater training delivery based on current audience. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Primary functions require sufficient ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible. Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
