Junior Sales Engineer

(1 year experience, remote)

Hiring Type: Full-Time

Base Salary: $55K-$65K Per Annum.

Responsibilities Include:

Will be our Subject Matter Expert (SME), technical advisor, and product advocate across our products and services in support of sales efforts, including facilitating all technical evaluations and demos
Experience working with a diverse portfolio of clients including SMB and enterprise
Collaborate with the Account Executive team and potential clients to discover current systems/processes, system requirements, and potential gaps, pain points, and goals
Create and conduct quality technical product presentations/demonstrations to prospects via telephone, web meetings, and occasionally face-to-face
Collaborate with clients and Product and Engineering to assess integration needs and configurations
Work closely with the Sales team to ensure timely feedback on sold accounts for ongoing management and retention.
Oversee Proof of Concept and evaluation support for enterprise accounts during pre-sales cycles and guide to successful customer conversion
Establish appropriate support expectations and be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process
Establish and nurture strong relationships throughout the sales cycle
Maintain sales demonstration database necessary
Consistent use of CRM (Salesforce) to record sales activity and customer information
Assist with in-house post-sale hand offs between Sales and Customer Success

Basic Qualifications:

1 year of relevant experience relating to Sales Engineering (or technical equivalent), Customer Success, or Consulting
Extensive knowledge of business processes, field service management software, or the service industry is highly desired
Software as a Service (SaaS) software delivery experience is highly desired
Methodical approach to customer discovery and effectively identifying and documenting technical customer requirements and communicating to cross-functional teams across Product, Customer Success, and/or Engineering
Ability to translate complex technological concepts into accurate and easy-to-understand language
Familiarity with, and desire to continue learning about, API architecture and data integration, to support partner and channel integrations.
Comprehensive knowledge of computers, tablets, and various mobile devices (iOS and Android)
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required
Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced, team-based environment
