Job Description:
Machine Operators are charged with the safe and efficient use of manufacturing implements, perform repetitive jobs, work levers, buttons or foot pedals and make minor adjustments when necessary to machinery to ensure machine is working properly. Operators prepare machines for operation, load machines with material, enter data into machine s computer controls, inspect and monitor machine and adjust different inputs, pressures and speeds to maintain quality. Operators monitor and record product and material types, temperatures, speeds, pressures, quantity counts and quality checking materials and products. Quality checks include preparing product samples, weighing samples, measuring widths and thickness and evaluating visual appearance of products. Machine Operators also perform housekeeping and work area organization duties and any required duties directed by supervisor or management.

Operator must obtain and maintain a Fork Truck certification.

NOTE: POSITION REQUIRES TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

Physical Requirements:

Production operators are required to lift up to 50lbs.
Required to bend, stretch, push, carry heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
Some job areas require frequently climbing/descending stairs and mounting/dismounting forklift.
Education:

High School diploma or equivalent is required, must be able to read, write and comprehend English and possess good communication skills.

**Schedule**

The schedule is 12 hour shifts that switch between days and nights each week as follows:

4 days, 7 off, 4 nights, 3 off, 3 days, 1 off, 3 nights, 3 off

The schedule is a four-week repeating schedule

The shifts times are 6: 50 am 6: 50 pm and 6: 50 pm 6: 50 am
