This position will provide an ongoing restorative program for all residents under the direction of the Director of Nursing. The Restorative Aide - CNA may be required to assist with resident care while performing restorative nursing tasks.Responsibilities: Follows and upholds communityfacility'sphilosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each residents quality of care and quality of lifeImplement individualized restorative programs as directed to assist resident with maintaining highest practicable levelWork closely with the physical therapy departmentAssist during mealtimes in the dining roomProvides, completes and e- documents, if applicable, resident care as assigned Follows safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safetyFollows and upholds policies and procedures of the community facilityProvides care to Resident per Residents individualized plan of care Answers call-lights per facility policyFollows rules outlined in the the community facility's employee handbookFollows and understands the community facility's Emergency Preparedness plansAttends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assignedFollows infection control guidelinesQualificationsQualifications: The Restorative Aide/Certified Nurse Assistant must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge in accordance with statutory requirements for Certified Nurse Assistant. If a candidate for CNA, must be enrolled in and complete an approved training program and pass competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge within the time frame mandated by the respective state.
