Description

Our Property Management Company is in search of a Leasing Consultant for our residential communities in Chicago's historic South Shore neighborhood. In this position, you will be responsible for leasing, marketing, and sales for several different locations. The ideal candidate for this role would be someone with prior leasing experience or sales and customer service experience who is professional, extremely customer care oriented, and well organized. Your main objective will be to maximize property occupancy by generating qualified traffic and securing the close of lease agreements.

Pay Range: $20 to $23/hr.

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Leasing experience in a fast-paced residential community a plus
  • Background in customer service
  • Sales experience
  • A proactive approach, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office and property management software
  • Availability to work Saturdays
Responsibilities
  • Pleasantly greet all residents and prospective residents who visit or call the office
  • Convert leads into community tours by following up with prospects
  • Present properties and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective residents
  • Advertise available apartments using a variety of media and promoting materials
  • Stay informed of the surrounding market, community amenities and floor plans available
  • Qualify prospects, prepare lease documents and assist with move-in
  • Walk unit and ensure that apartment is move-in ready
  • Provide quality customer service and timely response to resident requests and complaints
  • Contribute to cleanliness and curb appeal of the community on a continuing basis
  • Schedule, monitor and follow up with maintenance service requests
  • Maintain open communication with Property Manager(s) and Service Team Members
  • Fostering harmony in the workplace and promoting a positive image of the company
  • Performing any other tasks as directed by the Property Manager or Vice President of Operations
