Be able to engage the entire organization: engineering, purchasing, sales, marketing, and management in creating value for customersManage and interpret customer requirementsProvide voice of the customer data during the design of custom-made productsResearch and understand our customer marketsReview and approve quotes and ordersMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field3 years experience in technical salesStrong skills using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel requiredSome travel (both domestic and international) may be requiredImmigration sponsorship not offered for this rolePhysical Demands: Normal working conditions absent extreme factors Must be able to see well enough to read reports, send emails, etc.Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with customers and vendorsMust be able to lift up to 50lbs periodicallyMust be willing and able to travel long distances via car or airplaneRole is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testingPreferred Qualifications: Self-motivated with a proven track record in technical salesAbility to identify and resolve customer and vendor problemsAbility to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers, customers and vendors both verbally and in writingAbility to work effectively independently and as part of a teamStrong desire to learn and be a problem solver, striving to determine the root cause of issues.
