Restorative Aide (CNA) Responsibilities

As a Restorative Aide (CNA), you will be responsible for delivering rehabilitative and therapeutic services as ordered and supervised by licensed medical staff and in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements. Restorative Aides (CNA) assist residents to achieve or maintain their highest practicable level of ADL function through consistent, structured, and controlled re-teaching and retraining techniques to promote increased participation in activities of daily living.

Restorative Aide (CNA) Requirements

• Certified in the state of practice, required.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program; Name must appear on State Registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing.
• Prior experience as Restorative Aide in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs; ALFs as required by state).
