**Sales Assistant - DWR Contract**

at Design Within Reach Dallas, TX DWR is looking for a Sales Assistant based in Dallas. As a Sales Assistant, you'll provide sales, customer service and operational support for the Central Sales Representatives as well as for day-to-day walk-in clients. You will also act as a liaison between all operational departments of the sales organization reporting to the Central Sales Representatives- Texas, Mid-West & Mountain.

* Respond to and manage all inquiries in a timely, professional and courteous manner ensuring accuracy of information.

* Assisting Account Managers, Project Managers in pre-order management.

* Managing COM and tracking for Central

* Work with Contract Operations team and SPO for sku requests

* Prepare preliminary quotes and pricing requests using Salesforce from the opportunity created by the Regional Sales Rep or directly from the client request.

* Perform account and order management related tasks including the following:

* Provide milestone dates, communicate tracking to clients on an ongoing basis.

* Work with delivery on White Glove and last leg delivery coordination.

* Review order reports weekly and provide clients with estimated arrival dates to meet their required installs.

* Assist in customer service issues

* Greeting and welcoming clients in showroom

* Assisting in, as well as, leading showroom tours

* Shipping and receiving samples, loaners and finishes

* Overseeing the finish library, reordering finishes as needed

* Aiding in catering, food service

This might be you if you have the following skills and abilities...

* 2-4 years of showroom experience.

* Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work in multiple systems at one time.

* Salesforce experience preferred.

* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team ensuring efficiency of projects from start to finish.

* Comfortable and adept at communicating with clients in person and by phone.

* Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
