It's an exciting time to be a part of IFF! We are looking for our next Sales Assistant to join our team!

**Mission:**

Primary purpose to provide a single point of contact for IFF's customers effectively managing the liaison on all issues relating to existing and new business, including order management.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities:**

* Serve customers by guiding them on product knowledge. Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.

* Work with Customer Support Team to have the customer orders accurately and timely registered into IFF's systems, including acknowledgement and confirmation of same (if requested date can't be met) engage with customers and Customer Service Support Team to ensure all required data is entered into the system as quickly as possible.

* Maintain all master data relating to customers which has been validated. Maintain all quotes and pricing information, ensuring that the systems are accurate and reliable.

* Accountable for all communication relating to order changes - either customer initiated or IFF initiated - to ensure that all concerned parties are aware of the changes and agree the new targets.

* Track the order fulfillment progress (liaising with the operations team) and proactively communicate exceptions to customer and management.

* Coordinate all communications between the Customer and IFF departments ensuring timely delivery of all documents relating to legal and quality issues and specifications.

* Respond to order-related customer inquiries and complaints ensuring that the customer is always given the information they require when they need it.

**Projects / Opportunities:**

* Provide a full support service to the Account Manager in all matters relating to the service of the account including:

* Prepare presentations, coordinating customer visits / workshops, preparing offers / quotes / pricing.

* Together with the Account Manager, be responsible for the receipt of opportunities and projects into IFF and their accurate and detailed entry into sales systems ensuring that all required information is "first time right".

* Liaise with creation, application and other departments monitoring the project progress to ensure that the Account Manager and customer are kept fully up to date with all appropriate information necessary to ensure timely and winning submissions.

* Maintain accurate and complete product/customer submission and pricing records.

****Job Requirements****

**Key Requirements:**

* Higher education in Administration (CFGS or Business Degree).

* English and Spanish at a fluent level.

* 2+ years of experience in sales position. Additional experience in a customer service-related position will be valued.

* Experience in a multinational environment.

* Experience with Sales Applications and Software such as SAP, Sales Force, MyBIS, or PowerBI.

* Experience in a Food Ingredient or Flavors Company will be valued.
