Bartenders will be responsible to prepare and serve drinks to customers. Bartenders should maintain positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly and efficient manner. The position will be responsible to and evaluated by the Revenue Manager .

•Must enthusiastically represent RIVERSPORT by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job

•Greet, acknowledge, and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

•Operate register

•Maintains a friendly and inviting atmosphere

•Check identification of the guest to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol

•Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with standard drink recipes

•Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages

•Service wine and beer to guests

•Arrange bottles to make attractive displays

•Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations

•Ability to sell or influence others for up selling and suggestive selling

•Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner

•Keep the bar counter and work area neat and clean at all times

•Determine when a customer has had too much alcohol and, if required, refusing any further serving in a polite way

•Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions

•Pouring and serving beverages

•Clean up after customers and clean work area throughout shift and at the end of shift

•Return alcohol to proper storage areas

•Maintain liquor inventory at bar

•Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests

•Comply with all food and beverage regulations

•Perform other duties as and when assigned by the Revenue Manager

•Follow grooming and uniform policies set forth by Employee Handbook and department manager

•Private Events may require casual business attire or black tie attire

Qualifications

This position is well-suited for a hands-on high-energy individual who enjoys interacting with diverse audiences. Ideal candidate will have a positive, "can do" attitude, can handle multiple things at one time and possess the following qualifications:

•At least 21 years of age

•ABLE Liquor License

•Have a fun and friendly attitude

•Knowledge of mixed drinks, beers, and wine

•Must be able to stand on your feet for up to 8 hours

•Able to bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs

•Be a team player

•Strong communication skills

•Interest in the Oklahoma River, Oklahoma City, and the RIVERSPORT mission
