* Understands and performs this job within the scope of the Karcher Quality Policy by following specified processes, procedures, and work instructions when performing assigned tasks.

* Use of computer or handheld device.

* Performs a visual check on each delivery printed and marks them with the appropriate stamp - paying close attention to detail and comments.

* Performs process of releasing orders through Trak Land.

* Matches labels up with delivery ticket - verifying that the parts picture corresponds with the part description.

* Performs tote association by matching type of order with color coded tote or clipboard.

* Dispatch appropriate LTL carriers.

* Create manifests and bills of lading.

* Maintain files and documentation.

* Use computer to input shipping documents.

* Package goods for shipment preparing and verifying bills of lading.

* Determine the weight of the materials shipping by using scales.

* Post weight and shipping charges.

* May reject damaged, excess or misdirected goods.

* Produce packing slip from computer and places it on the package.

* Maintains stock supplies for printers and supplies for picking by communicating to Team Leader when supplies are needed.

* Helps in other areas of the department when time allows.

* Keeps area neat, clean and orderly.

* Will perform any and/or all listed proficiencies and duties in Warehouse 1.

* Less than one year of related experience is required.

* 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* SAP preferred (not required).

* Trackland preferred (not required).

* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

* Ability to write simple correspondence.

* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

* Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.

* Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
