Job Description Summary

The Trauma Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator (RN) reports to the Trauma Program Manager. Under limited supervision, the Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator manages the process improvement program which monitors patients meeting the trauma patient criteria to ensure the requirements of the American College of Surgeons and SC DHEC designation for Level One Trauma Centers are met. The Trauma PI Coordinator identifies and investigates all variances in patient clinical care and system issues with respect to adherence to MUSC trauma protocols, guidelines, and algorithms.
Bachelors degree in nursing preferred must have Associates degree in Nursing at the minimum.
