**Sales Assistant**
New Orleans, LA Robinson Lumber Company is looking to hire a Sales Assistant to join our established Hardwood Lumber sales and purchasing team. A good candidate may have experience from a different industry but will have a proven ability to prioritize and work under pressure.

**Primary Responsibilities**
* Customer/Supplier relations, including making sales offers and replying to inquiries
* Coordinate orders with customers and suppliers
* Managing sales opportunities and quoting
* Maintaining customer & supplier information in Salesforce.com CRM system
* Developing new customers & suppliers
* Preparing internal reports such as sales reports and budgeting
* Other tasks as assigned
**Qualifications**
* Previous sales, purchasing, and/or logistics experience a plus
* Ability to speak a second language is a plus
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task are essential to this position
* Professional communication skills (personal/verbal and written)
* Lumber knowledge not necessary
This is a full time, salaried position.
