An HGH Warehouser is a team player who demonstrates a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn. This person practices good time management skills, is dependable, and can handle multiple tasks. Under the direct supervision of the Branch Manager, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurate receiving and put away, picking, packing and shipment of product to meet our company standards of safety, security, and productivity. This is a two shift operation with the possibility of required overtime and occasional weekend work.

Areas of Responsibility

1. Receive and put away stock which includes quantity and quality verifications

2. Pick product utilizing RF handheld scan equipment

3. Pack customer orders and prepare them for shipment via courier or company truck

4. Load and unload company delivery truck utilizing motorized lift equipment

5. Perform duties such as labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and re-palletizing

6. Responsible for various assigned warehouse housekeeping functions

7. Perform other value added services as required by management

8. Possible tinting/staining duties as trained and assigned

Requirements:

1. High School diploma/GED

2. At least 1 year warehouse shipping and receiving experience (preferred)

3. Excellent proven attendance record (substantiated with references)

4. Willingness to learn and assist in other areas of the branch (Ex: Tinting)

5. Ability to lift 75lbs

Preferred Abilities

1. Inventory Control Experience

2. Experience with bar-coding and scanning equipment

3. Computer Systems experience
