Job Summary: This position will function as a bartender in the Fluno Center study pub on the UW Madison campus. Job duties include taking customer's orders, preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink orders, delivering customer's food and beverage orders, utilizing POS system, set up, service and clean-up of high-end catered events and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities: Performs customer service and related activities in campus catering operations following established procedures and best practices to assure high quality catering services.

* 40% Leads service for retail venues and catered events

* 5% Works with catering customers to establish menus, service styles, and other details of catered events

* 5% Performs routine and non-routine food preparation activities including cook to order and specialty foods

* 10% Schedules, trains, and guides service staff and bartenders

* 15% Cleans, inspects, and maintains kitchen equipment and work areas

* 5% Adheres to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations, policies, and procedures

* 20% Responsible to oversee cash handling, reconciling and oversee student bartenders to ensure quality control and excellent customer service on a daily basis

Work Schedule: Study Pub operates 7 days a week from 3pm to 11:30pm. Schedules vary based on business needs.

It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.

Salary: **Minimum** $17.78 HOURLY
