Plumbers Supply Co, a family owned business celebrating 100 years in 2021, has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate at our branch in Bowling Green. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of a team responsible for shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Responsibilities will include order picking, order checking, materials stocking and delivery.
Schedule is Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm (with possible required overtime)(hrs can be subject to change).
Working under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the person filling this position is expected to do the following: Pick and stage customer orders timely and accurately, accurately and safely receive and store product, help team members maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment that is safe & accessible for salespeople, customer traffic and employees. Willing to drive company vehicle to customer sites to deliver products as required. Performs all duties to ensure that all appropriate safety and security standards are followed. Functions as a contributing member of the warehouse team and other teams, as assigned.
Requirements:
* Valid Driver's License
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. routinely
* Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to more than 75 lbs with assistance.
* Forklift experience is a plus.
* Customer Service Focused
* Dependable Attendance
* Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills
* Must have or be able to acquire a DOT medical card
* Prior Experience driving a box truck in a shipping/receiving/delivery environment preferred.
* Stamina to Stand & Walk for entire shift.
* High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
* Pre-Employment Drug Screen & Background Check
