Job duties will include activities such as building furniture, moving furniture, loading or unloading delivery trucks, scanning items to the proper location, as well as daily upkeep procedures. Candidates should be self motivated, hard working, and team oriented. Customer service skills are a must.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ability to lift, pull, and/or push upwards of 50 pounds
* Ability to stand for an entire shift
* Ability to work in various warehouse conditions
* Ability to work in various weather conditions
* Knowledge of hand tools
* Knowledge of power tools
* Ability to pay attention to detail
* Show care and concern for work output
* Ability to learn new skills
* Ability to take instruction
* Ability to navigate forward and backward
* Ability to work independently, while also being a strong team player
* Strong attention to detail
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
* Unloads incoming delivery trucks.
* Processes and organizes incoming merchandise to be inventoried.
* Assists in placing incoming inventory on stock shelves.
* Assists in pulling merchandise for the next days deliveries.
* Opens/unwraps merchandise that has been pulled for delivery.
* Assembles merchandise to be delivered.
* Ensures that merchandise is defect free.
* Reports defected merchandise to the Service Technician for repairs.
* Organizes merchandise on the loading docks according to delivery order.
* Maintains a clean work area.
* Assists customers with merchandise pickups.
* Performs duties in an appropriate and safe manner at all times.
* Adheres to The Companies *Safety Policy.*
* All other duties as assigned by management.
