As a Physical Education teacher, your primarily responsibility is to develop engaging, content-rich subject specific lesson plans, and to teach students about different types of exercise, sporting skills, attitude, and health topics. PE teachers lay a foundation by incorporating basic principles of warming up, stretching, and cool down. A focus on attitude, performance, and sporting skills is utilized to benefit students.
Your Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare subject specific lessons in Physical Education (PE).
- Maintain high standards of health and safety in all activities for campers and staff.
- Assist or lead in the direction, supervision, and organization of campers within activities and throughout the camp in order to meet the intended camper outcomes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of program activities for campers within the mission and outcomes.
- Be a role model to campers and staff in your attitude and behavior.
- Represent the camp when interacting with parents or community members.
