POSITION OVERVIEW The Manager of Engagement will assist with the design, development, and execution of plans related to community-oriented services, programs, and activities. This role encompasses both a strategic and hands-on approach to community engagement programming, ensuring that equity and people-first focus is at the forefront of all programs. This position will play an important role in recruitment processes, community events, marketing content, and partnerships that help to position Fontainebleau Las Vegas as a committed leader in the communities we serve. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary: Serve as a Team Member champion and change agent, impacting the organization focusing on developing, and implementing effective engagement efforts aligned to the organizations mission, vision, and core values Develop a strategy that reflects the Company community engagement priorities and business objectives, addressing critical community needs, and externally represents the company with stakeholders, public officials, and community groups Oversee philanthropic giving to national and local non-profit organizations Support leadership in creating key presentation materials for strategic initiatives, communication plans, recap decks, meeting agendas, and monthly/quarterly reports Assist in development and execution of strategies for partnership engagement that delivers community and organizational outcomes in social justice, wellness, education, and environmental sustainability for both our Team Members and community members Assess current community and non-profit partnerships, and identify, research, and cultivate new partners and opportunities in line CSR priorities Serve as liaison, and establish and foster exemplary relationships with key community stakeholders at the local, county, and state level Effectively project manage several projects at once, maintaining a timely course of action with a sense of urgency for proper completion and regular communication to leadership Build a measurement framework and dashboard to track and report on engagement metrics to demonstrate our impact on Team Members and in our communities Partner with Internal Communications to create communication plans and support written and activation programs that build Team Member awareness and engagement through impactful professional communications Collaborate regularly with Internal Communications and Public Relations to effectively message philanthropic work Interface regularly with Brand Marketing teams for creative requests as well as various 3rd party vendors to manage the design and production of a variety of time sensitive projects, to be handled with efficiency and accuracy with an emphasis on detail and ability to adhere to project deadlines and company policies Build relationships with non-profit organizations and community groups to expand opportunities for volunteer engagement and donations, and coordinate other outreach events that expand the Company’s reach in the community Develop and maintain calendar of events and contacts for relationships and events Support department in identification and delivery of innovative partnership strategies including learning and development opportunities, event sponsorships, and Team Member volunteering Measure and communicate social impact of the program to stakeholders via annual report, ESG report, storytelling, gallery exhibits, etc., and provide regular updates to key internal stakeholders Serve as the conduit to Team Members, working in close partnership with Team Member engagement and internal communications Collaborate with Company and partner communication teams on community engagement efforts and possible storytelling moments Partner with Marketing to build social media presence, driving awareness of the social impact of our programs Champion, within the organization, a commitment to honesty, integrity, and responsible behavior Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications, human resources, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience Leadership experience in a Community Engagement, Philanthropy, CSR, or Human Resources positions for a large-scale luxury resort/casino Preferred to have proven experience with mass hiring for a new resort or casino Proven knowledge of federal and state employment laws Experienced building community engagement capabilities for effective implementation, follow-up, sustainability, and measurement for large hospitality businesses Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to Team Member and guest problems, in a timely manner Ability to simultaneously manage several projects Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high quality service levels Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly and communicate clearly SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job supervises all positions with the Community Engagement department.
