to join our Dimensioning team at our Corporate Headquarters in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.

The

Dimensioning Sales Engineer

performs a variety of customer service duties including custom project management, answering technical sales calls, customer training and education, regular & special quotes, and customer relations. Dimensioning Sales Engineer is responsible for customers satisfaction for quotes and projects from inception to installation. Dimensioning Sales Engineer develops application solutions including design, equipment specification, interfacing and testing. Sales Engineer may define or collaborate on software user guide development to accomplish solution goals. Must be capable of wiring, testing and validation of final solution. Dimensioning Sales Engineer works with all departments within the company to ensure full customer satisfaction. Works directly with end users, strategic accounts, OEM’s, RSD’s and dealers to specify, design and quote standard and custom dimensioning products. Manage orders including the coordination of activities between the customer and our internal resources. This may include planning and coordination of new product installs and retrofits. Acts as the subject matter expert for dimensioning products and provides expert technical and sales support. This includes hosting in-person or Zoom meetings with project stakeholders as needed to achieve successful project management and outcomes. Provides support to Regional Sales Directors including product questions, customer follow-up, and order requests. Works with Product Manager to validate dimensioning product accuracy for standard and custom solutions with testing and data analysis. Participates in customer VIP visits including training and entertainment opportunities to assure that proper product line awareness is achieved. May perform product and technical instruction for VIPS visits; ensures customers are receiving a high-quality level of technical training. Participate in customer installations and on-site training as needed to assist business unit and grow knowledge of industry requirements and applications. Utilizes various portals and M2k to retrieve customer information, stock information, and the status of purchase orders. Ensures that correct codes are used for retrieving and inputting information. Coordinates with Finance department as needed to monitor order status and credit requests. Travels to trade shows as assigned and works booth hours as needed. Assists with set-up and tear-down as required. Promptly inputs all customer complaint information into the COARS database. Responds to any inquires for additional information. Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Technical Field including Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or related field; or five (5) or more years of system integration and/or measurement experience. Two (2) or more years of sales experience High level of interpersonal skills including influencing, conflict resolution, and creative problem-solving Must work well under pressure and maintain professionalism at all times. Must be self-motivated, confident, highly dependable, and have solid follow-up skills Good personal computer skills including Windows, Word and Excel skills Ability to interact with other departments to gain access to necessary information and be able to multitask Excellent professional telephone skills and presence Able to respond to needs of customers in a timely and value-added manner. Valid Driver’s License Works within the framework of assigned hours in the department while being both available and adaptable to varying work situations. Scheduled work hours may be anywhere between the hours of 6:30am to 6:30pm on weekdays.
