Engagement Manager - Military veterans preferred

The Steinman Institute for Civic Engagement is seeking an Engagement Manager to join our growing team. This role is perfect for an individual who values community and the common good, is a big thinker who gets things done, and loves to work in an adaptable environment. You will do this through community engagement activities and events, communications, and leading projects that provide opportunities to connect individuals in our unique communities. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience working in areas such as marketing, community engagement, and communications, or equivalent experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. The Steinman Institute for Civic Engagement was created by WITF following the Steinman Family’s gift of LNP to WITF in 2023. The Institute will seek to preserve, protect and expand the local media resource that LNP has been to Lancaster County for nearly 230 years. We believe that local media is a critical ingredient in creating and sustaining public trust, including democracy itself and will seek to create a new business model for local media in Central Pennsylvania and beyond that ensures the essential public good that is local media endures for generations to come.
