Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate with customers and the technicians work schedule for preventative maintenance work
Perform WheelTime service functions for all on-highway repairs.
Must have a comprehensive understanding of the products and services offered by United Engines and keep your knowledge up-to-date.
All information on customers must remain confidential
Show strength in understanding the needs and challenges of the customer and be able to solve complex problems.
Good communication skills with customers as needed for maintenance updates including changes to schedule or work, billing concerns, or satisfaction issues.
Must have good communication skills with customers as well as with other employees and vendors.
Must be able to provide accurate quotes for any repairs.
Must be able to verify any warranties provided and maintain criteria.
Maintain multiple data entry systems.
Perform on call duties and weekend calls as needed.
Maintain a strong, personal commitment to the safety culture.
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technically proficient on engine and transmission troubleshooting.
Experience in a vocational industry or experience in parts or service is preferred.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and able to lift 65 lbs. From floor to shoulder level occasionally.
Ability to frequently exert the pound force limits for push/pull 50lb f (no wheels) or 100lb f (wheels).
Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, and reaching or handling with arms, hands and fingers.
Requires crawling and working in narrow spaces.
Requires frequent use of repetitive movements, i.E. Hammering, turning wrenches, screwdrivers and impact tools.
Manual dexterity sufficient to work with fingers.
Normal vision with or without corrective lenses.
Exposed to cold, heat, noise mechanical/electrical fume or odor.
Will be required on occasion to work more than 8 hours on one shift.
Will be required to work at a minimum height of four feet off of the ground.
Ability to operate overhead cranes, mobile equipment and motor vehicles as required.
