Student Internship - Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Procurement Group - Military veterans preferred

The selectee will serve as a Student Trainee (Business & Industry) in one of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Procurement Group departments. The selectee should be pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited university while maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.95. Credits in any of the following business-related subjects are highly desired: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, and organization and management. The selectee will: Learn basic methods, techniques, and procedures of contracting Perform contracting work of limited scope and complexity Participate in on-the-job training Perform tasks for which explicit guidelines and instructions are available which will enable the selectee to become familiar with the employing organization and foster development of professional work habits, in preparation for performing entry-level work Collect data and information Perform lower level mathematical calculations and analysis Evaluate and analyze standard requirements Prepare graphs, charts, and tables
