JOB SUMMARY
Receives, inventories, and dispatches rolled carpet goods and supplies based on daily production schedule in most cases by operating a forklift. Performs Customer Service duties as necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Retrieves supplies and materials by studying daily pull tickets; locating and verifying correct materials; secures carpet rolls on truck; moves rolls via forklift to storage location.
•Maintains inventory of supply products by anticipating and tracking usage.
•Monitors inventory by reporting discrepancies.
•Clears storage area by securing and moving carpet rolls to storage location;
•Moving furniture at customer's homes (when applicable)
•Standing/driving
•Tear out of existing material (when applicable)
•Documents actions by logging movement of supplies, materials, and carpet rolls.
•Maintains safe work environment by watching out for foot traffic; following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
•Keeps forklift operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
•Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
•Accomplishes warehousing and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.
•Provides supplementary phone coverage during breaks and down time for office staff.
•Attend training as directed by local manager and support teams
•Other duties as assigned
•Performs customer service duties as necessary including: scheduling, Dialpad communications, and resulting jobs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•Must be eighteen years of age or older.
•Must be willing to submit to a background check.
•Must be able to submit proof of employment eligibility.
•Able to life 75 lbs.- 100 lbs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Previous experience in warehouse, construction, distribution, logistics, or customer service
•Forklift Certification/License
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Strong customer service skills, ability to provide a positive and professional experience
