Start Date: April 2024
Contract Duration: 3 months (potential extension)
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 40 hours/week, and overtime on weekends as needed
Pay Rate: $22/hr
Job Description:
The Warehouse Associate will be assigned to either an Engineer or a Manager and will hold responsibilities specific to the different Fulfillment Center areas. Looking for a person who has worked in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. This person must be mechanically inclined and interested in machinery.
Project:
Currently the team is installing and testing a new Sorting Machine & need Associates to help run the machine and record data.
Candidate Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Safety Trained (safety certifications preferred)
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, and/or holidays
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office applications experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
Job responsibilities:
  • Fully understanding workflow and daily production & testing goals.
  • Document results of Sorting Machine testing
  • Reviewing and updating SOP as required.
  • Read indicators, descriptions on screens and do work in a specifically prescribed order.
  • Participating in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity.
  • Assisting in keeping work area clean and organized.
  • Identifying and addressing safety hazards within the work area.
  • Coaching other associates to work safely at all times.
  • Participating in safety initiatives.
  • Referring all job injuries immediately to area manager.
