Terrelonge Staffing is currently seeking a motivated and hardworking Warehouse Associate & Forklift Operator for one of our esteemed clients. This role involves performing various warehouse labor tasks, including but not limited to picking, packing, and shipping orders, as well as operating forklifts safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with physical labor, and has previous forklift operating experience. This position requires adherence to safety guidelines and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety procedures and regulations.
  • Receive, check, and store incoming supplies and materials, verifying receipts against purchase orders.
  • Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records, reporting any discrepancies.
  • Assist in keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, following all company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring goods are handled with care and stored correctly.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to improve operations and increase efficiency.
  • Perform routine checks on forklift equipment and report any malfunctions or need for repairs.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to help in all areas.
Qualifications, Experience, Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in forklift operation is a plus.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment, with a proven track record of reliability.
  • Certified or willing to become certified in forklift operation, with experience driving forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent physical condition and stamina, capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing.
