Read and interpret floor plans and kitchen layouts, translating them into standard designs. Design and create ventilation hoods and fire suppression systems. Collaborate with the Sales Team to address design issues and customer concerns. Assist production personnel in resolving product design issues. Develop bills of material. Support the Design Drafting & Engineering Teams by providing layouts, sketches, calculations, and tolerance studies as required. Office Environment: 5 days a week with flexible in/out times. Minimal travel required (less than 5%). Associate degree in Drafting or (STEM) Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics. A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, encompassing both 2D and 3D (2014 or newer). Proficiency in mechanical drafting and design using AutoCAD. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient in reading and comprehending blueprints. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to work independently. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in reading and comprehending floor plans, kitchen layouts, mechanical blueprints, and specifications. Basic understanding of electrical drawings. Knowledge of 2D and 3D drafting standards. Exposure to manufacturing processes. Experience in HVAC systems.
