This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the automotive industry's shift towards higher performance and fuel efficiency through cutting-edge materials and extensive R&D efforts.Essential Job Functions:Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned accounts to enhance sales revenue and profit.Manage commercial aspects of sales programs from prototype to production, including RFQs, pricing, and marketing.Cultivate new and existing business opportunities, negotiating sales contracts, and managing vendor/supplier agreements.Serve as a key liaison among customers, vendors, suppliers, and factories, ensuring seamless coordination throughout the product lifecycle.Analyze customer requirements, interfacing with global customers and production teams, including collaboration with teams in Japan.Offer technical/engineering support, ensuring product design and production feasibility.Provide guidance and support to sales personnel, coordinating activities and networking within the industry.Secondary Job Functions:Ensure accuracy in purchase orders and monitor inventory levels for product availability.Offer training to new sales personnel and serve as an escalation point for outstanding customer balances.Organize and coordinate meetings with customers and suppliers.Experience & Education:A Bachelors degree in business or an engineering-related field, with 5-10 years of relevant sales/management experience in the industry.A strong foundation in engineering principles, business concepts, and trading functions is preferred.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Expertise in sales and negotiation techniques, along with a solid understanding of product demonstration and marketing strategies.Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with experience in cross-cultural communication.Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and product drawings.Proficient in managing multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines efficiently.This position represents an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about driving innovation and delivering superior value to customers globally.
