Overview

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team

to design, modify and test technical solutions that meet our current and prospective clients' needs. You will also create technical designs that will be used by the inside sales team to create proposals. Additionally, you will prepare budgets for the CSL (Client Services Leader) for use in business review meetings to plan technology recommendations and projects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Designing technology solutions to meet and exceed the client's needs and expectations.

Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.

Continually researching the current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.

Informing various stakeholders about any issues with the current technical solutions being implemented

Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have

Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets

Preparing dynamic technical solutions with scheduled recurring budgets (based on client's fiscal year). Assisting the CSL (Client Services Leader) as needed in the business review meetings to plan and advance technology recommendations and projects.

Qualifications

Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Sales Architect, Quoting Specialist, or similar

Previous project management experience is advantageous.

Strong leadership skills

Two years of experience in Systems Administration or Similar

Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies.

Solid organizational skills and detail oriented.

Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format.

Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science or equivalent work experience.

Transportation:

Must have a reliable car, valid driver's license, and valid vehicle insurance.

Physical Demands:

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, sometimes lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Education

:

Associate degree or better from an accredited college or technical school or three years+ of related experience in a supported Microsoft network environment with centralized management for hardware, software, and backup processes. Industry certifications are preferred, not required.
