Electro-Mechanical Assembler - Military veterans preferred

Our client,  a leader in biotech scientific manufacturing, is seeking a Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electro Mechanical Assembler
Location: Hillsboro, OR
Pay Range: $21 an hour

What’s the Job?

• Conduct assembly, wiring, alignments, and final configurations of components.
• Apply prescribed methods using a variety of hand tools, fixtures, and test equipment.
• Collect test data and document the manufacturing process.
• Participate in resolving production challenges and making process decisions.
• Assist in the selection and/or set-up of specialized equipment.

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Background in precision mechanical assembly and low-volume, sophisticated manufacturing processes preferred.
• Experience in lean manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement a plus.
• Previous assembly experience in a Clean Room environment is a plus.
