Leasing Consultant (Bronzeville) - Military veterans preferred

We are currently seeking a Leasing Consultant to coordinate all aspects of leasing activities at Prairie Shores, a 1,675-unit portfolio in the heart of Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Provides excellent customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, visitors, and other customers.
• Conducts building tours for prospective residents and inputs traffic into software daily; leases apartments in accordance with policies and procedures set forth by management.
• Enters new lease information into the computer system and ensures accuracy.
• Prepares, maintains, and manages new and existing lease files.
• Assists in move-in / move-out process.
• Receives resident service requests and administers building work order system.
• Monitors and evaluates rental rates and communicates market changes and rental rate recommendations.
• Conducts regular walk throughs of facility and reports concerns to building maintenance.

Qualified candidates will be self-starters with at least 2 years of sales-related experience. Previous apartment leasing experience with proven, exceptional closing skills preferred. Candidates must have or obtain current Illinois leasing agent license. Regular weekend hours will be required.
