Finance/Production Planning Supervisor, MMX Finance and Operations

 

Position Overview

This role provides a unique opportunity to manage a team of 1 to 2 financial analysts and utilize a financial/analytic skill set to assist in the strategic development of financial/operational plans for the MMX Supply Chain network of DCs and 3PL Campuses.   

Responsibilities

Finance

  • Enhance Supply Chain visibility by performing and reviewing ad hoc Financial Analysis of Supply Chain and Distribution Center Operational initiatives (ROI, NPV, Payback, Break Even, Lease vs. Buy, etc.)
  • Collaboration with Distribution Center Management Team and Home Office Business Planning & Analysis team in creation of financial and operational strategies.
  • Support the development of the Annual Operating Expesne Budget for the 12 domestic Distribution Centers in the Marshalls and TJ Maxx Network. The Distribution Center budgets are consolidated into the MMX Divisional budget as well as the TJX Corporate Annual Budget. 
  • Supervise Month-end Consolidation and Reporting for MMX Distributions Centers of operational metrics as well as Supply Chain spend throughout the network. 
  • Act as the liaison between the Home Office and the Distribution Centers Finance/Ops Team.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance team's overall efficiency, depth of insight, accuracy, etc.

Volume Planning & Reporting

  • Lead analysts through the consolidation and validation of Daily/Weekly/Monthly DC Ops. Production Reports
  • Develop Annual Volume Needs by Distribution Center and 3rd Party Processing Centers as well is intra-year rolling plan volume updates. 
  • Support the development of Peak Season Production Goals by Distribution Center and 3rd Party Processing Center Sites
  • Partnering with DC Services Inbound team to estimate Production Needs for long term production projection modeling.  
  • Support the network with Ad Hoc analysis, modeling, or visibility tools to improve fact based decision making. 

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Finance or Accounting related position.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain and/or Operations Management- MBA a plus. Minimum GPA: 3.0
  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel (macros, vlookups, pivot tables, etc.), Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and PowerBI
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including deadline-sensitive priorities.
  • Highly organized, analytical thinker with strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to positively influence results, deliver above expectations, and collaborate cross functionally.

This position has a starting salary range of $80,500 to $102,700 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

This position is eligible for an annual incentive.
