Job Summary

Partners with business leaders and HR Business Partners to lead or assist in the design, development, and delivery of enterprise and function specific talent management programs related to talent review, succession planning, top talent identification, critical position identification, and performance management.  Lead key initiatives and projects as part of an Talent and Organizational Effectiveness community of expertise. Position open to Omaha, NE or Chicago, IL.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead or assist in the design, development, and delivery of enterprise and function specific talent management practices related to talent review, succession planning, top talent identification, critical positions and performance management. 
  • Partner with the business and HR to implement and execute talent practices that will enable the talent strategy and foster a talent culture.
  • Interface with key stakeholders, subject matter experts and COE partners in the functional areas in the design, development and execution of talent practices.
  • Support the preparation and facilitation of talent management discussions with the business.
  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Performance Management process, including maintaining forms, drafting instructions, and enabling the associated communications.
  • Develop and manage talent reporting, metrics and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of the organization’s talent strategies.
  • Utilize and enhance enabling technologies.
  • Accountable for communication and change management regarding talent management strategies and initiatives.
  • Responsible for developing the sustainability strategy for current and future talent management strategies and programs.
  • Proactively research solutions and best practices to continuously improve integrated talent practices within the organization.
  • Embed and integrate talent practices across the entire employee lifecycle.


General Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Learning or Organization Development, Business, or Communications
  • 5+ years as human resources generalist with a strong emphasis in and understanding of Organizational Development, Training & Development and Talent Management processes
  • Experience in designing and delivering talent management, performance and learning, and individual development strategies in large, complex organizations
  • Experience coordinating integrated talent management initiatives including ongoing program management
  • Successful project management experience and success leading complex projects and project teams and working effectively across several businesses
  • Must have a proven track record of successful business leader partnerships.
  • Capable of translating complex strategies into pragmatic, simple programs.
  • Capable of adapting quickly to changing conditions.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are essential.
