ManTech is seeking a Database Administrator to provide database administration for all database systems, both
physical and virtual, within the four operating environments (Development,
Test, Stage, and Production) at data centers. Current database systems include,
multiple Oracle products, SQL Server, MySQL, Seibel, and IBM DB2; predominately
Oracle and SQL Server.

Duties:
Provide 24 hour a day 365 days a year daily problem resolution and support.
Provide troubleshooting of hardware, Software, and applications.
Coordinate with Tier 4 (Vendor Support) service providers for resolution of issues above the
Tier 3 capability.

the Tier 3 capability.
Support the development of contingency plans, including disaster recovery (DR) and
Continuity of Operations (COOP) testing, and failover testing consisting of
documented contingency plans.
Support the execution of emergency backups in coordination with other infrastructure
operational components and/or DHS Data Center specific requirements.
Support field site COOP and/or DR plans remotely.
Provide remote support and technical input for COOP and DR plans.
Support Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning and exercises that describes how the
OIT capability will be maintained during an emergency (e.g., fire, flood, power
outage, interruption of telecommunications service, or other possible emergency
situations).
Provide technical advice and assistance to address disaster recovery and shall propose
the strategy and services required to restore essential functions as well as
those required to restore full functionality.
Work with a third party contractor in assisting in the development of the COOP plan.
Participate in annual COOP exercises and DR tests. COOP and DR tests are required for each
system over which USCIS has ISSO responsibility.
Assist in the planning for disaster recovery of the servers and server functions in
field server rooms.
Review plans, provide recommendations, and document procedures for disaster recovery.
